Steps

  1. Pick your size. Use the home page to pick any size from 10 KB to 500 KB, or open the page for your specific form (SSC CGL, UPSC, NEET, Passport Seva, PAN, etc.) to use its exact requirement.
  2. Drop your photo. Tap or click the drop box and pick a photo from your phone or computer. JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC all work.
  3. Download. The compressed version is ready in a couple of seconds. Tap Download and upload it to your form.

Common questions

Will my form accept the compressed photo?
Yes — for the supported govt-form preset pages, we compress to the exact size and dimensions the official notification PDF requires. For generic KB-size pages, the result will be a valid JPEG under your chosen size, ready to upload.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tool works on any modern phone or computer browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). You don't need to install anything.
Is my photo uploaded somewhere?
No. Compression happens entirely on your device. Your photo never leaves your phone or computer. See the Privacy page for the full disclosure.
Why is the file size not exactly 40 KB (or whatever I picked)?
We aim slightly under your target so the form definitely accepts it — a file marked '≤ 40 KB' might be rejected if it lands at 40.1 KB. You can also pick a range like 20–50 KB if you want a specific window.
What if my original photo is too small?
Most forms have a minimum size as well as a maximum. If your photo is below the form's minimum, the tool will tell you and offer to inflate it without distorting the picture.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free, no signup, no ads, no premium plan. There is no version of this site that costs money.
